In the history of synthesis there are few names more recognisable or revered than Roland’s Jupiter, a series whose legacy can still be heard today, having graced countless classic and cutting edge tracks.
As electronic music has enjoyed a huge resurgence in recent years the original Jupiter synths have been in high demand as many fondly remember the accurate instrument modelling, other-worldly soundscapes, leads and basses available. Finally, 2011 has brought the long awaited return of the series, with the brand new Jupiter 80 ready to uphold the reputation of its historic lineage.
The Jupiter 80 combines all that was great about from its vintage predecessors with the latest technology to deliver a real road-ready powerhouse of a synth with a huge sonic palette.
