iGuitar Mag Reviews the Orange Jim Root Signature Amps
Most of us are probably still getting used to the idea that Orange have actually released a signature amp, but while you’re all still adjusting we’ll just let you know about a recent review of the Orange Jim Root Signature #4 Signature Amp by iGuitar Mag.
The Jim Root Terror Head was developed to bring you Jim’s full tone, style and image with its eye-catching black and orange design. The amp was modeled after the ‘dirty’ channel on Jim’s favourite amp, the Rockerverb 100. Both the Jim Root Signature head and accompanying signature PPC212 cab feature Slipknot and Stone Sour band logos on the rear. Despite what you might think, the amps don’t just do high gain and metal, you can dial in anything from vintage rock to blues.
“I had a great time reviewing this amp. It is most certainly a very versatile unit, capable of far more than the obvious ultra high gain tones. And then you have to take into account the price, which we feel makes it all the more impressive. I have to be honest, I’m never one to be very excited about a signature model but this amp just made me want to play and play and play. That, for me, is a sure sign of a fantastic product! We’ve no choice but to award it our joint highest ever score.”
