Make Your Own Sounds From Scratch
Dolphin Music on Nov 18, 2010
You basically have the building blocks of synthesis at your fingertips - the oscillator, filter, amplifier and LFO which we mentioned in yesterday’s post - and because you can hear the changes caused by various faders and sliders, it quickly becomes second nature, even if you’ve no experience in programming. Getting stuck in is the order of the way, and you’ll quickly move from the presets and be creating your own bespoke sounds for your tracks. Promise!
GAIA Top Tip
Each sound in the GAIA can be made up from three ‘tones’. You can edit each tone by moving the various faders and sliders, but you can also copy the settings from one to another, meaning you can quickly build impressive sounds with subtle but important diferences in each tone.
